Kyren Williams scored two touchdowns in the final four minutes, including the game-winner with 1:17 to play, as the Los Angeles Rams rallied to a 24-20 victory over the Philadelphia Eagles on Sunday at Lincoln Financial Field.
On a day when nothing seemed to be going right for the Rams—Matthew Stafford two picks, questionable flags, and special teams breakdowns—the defense held the Eagles to a turnover on downs at the goal line late in the fourth, sparking the comeback.
Stafford, 32 of 51 for 317 yards, was great when he needed to be, leading both drives capped by Williams’ scoring runs.
The Los Angeles defense registered four sacks, 2.5 by Byron Young.
Philly quarterback Jalen Hurts was held to 93 yards passing as his offense went 0-for-12 on third down and 1-for-4 on fourth.
The outcome brings both teams’ records to 2-2. Beyond the win-loss column, the Eagles also lost Saquon Barkley to a hamstring injury in the first quarter, along with linebacker Jonathan Greenard (ankle), running back Tank Bigsby (ankle), and cornerback Quinyon Mitchell (knee) later in the contest.
