Kick it!
After watching the San Diego Padres last night and all that buzz at PetCo, I cannot wait to go full Emperor Palpatine when they knock the Los Angeles Dodgers into the offseason.
After watching the Indiana Fever beat the Las Vegas Aces last night, I know exactly why A’ja Wilson is so unlikeable, why the league struggles to market her, and why no one is buying her shoes.
After watching San Antonio Spurs big man Victor Wembanyama during the postseason, along with Wilson’s actions, it’s clear that talent and likability don’t go hand in hand.
After hearing Sean McVay on the radio today, I’m glad to know Puka Nacua isn’t in a soft hold-in contract dispute and is expected to be on the field this Sunday.
After watching the New York Yankees last night, it’s clear their pitching is better than it was in 2024 and have a legitimate shot in October.
After watching and enjoying the opening night of the NHL season, I know there’s zero chance I will get emotionally invested in any part of the regular season. I mean, who has the animi motus?
After watching NBA media day, I am seriously interested in bad basketball. Of course, I’ve prepped myself by watching a lot of WNBA basketball.
After bitterly trashing the San Francisco Giants all season, I plan to continue the trashing until I reach 162…So…#119—May the San Francisco Giants rot and lie stinking in the earth…
After watching NFL Live and hearing them say that the Rams haven’t beaten the Philadelphia Eagles since Matthew Stafford joined the team in 2023…I am more affirmed than ever in reminding you that your football opinions and thoughts carry equal weight with lazy professionals.
After reading that Rams CB Jaylen Watson will not play this Sunday against the Eagles, I am very concerned. The dude has been fantastic while side-kicking fellow CB Trent McDuffie’s greatness.
After prepping all offseason for the coming Cleveland Browns meltdown with Deshaun Watson, I’m humbled to say I was wrong and that they have a real shot against the Pittsburgh Steelers tomorrow night.
After watching the replay of the Los Angeles Chargers loss to the Buffalo Bills, I’m going out on a limb and saying that sheer desperation will put them over the top against the Seattle Seahawks this week.
After writing this column so late today, I apologize and will do better tomorrow.
The Dude abides…
