Last week we talked about asking for counsel. So why don’t we? Pride.
It’s the voice that says “I know my lineup better than the experts,” right before you bench the fantasy football guy who drops a 30 burger.
We’ve all been there, and the scoreboard was not kind.
Pride tells us our “I think” beats everyone else’s “I know.”
But think bigger. Wiser than who? Wiser than Jesus? The One who built the universe doesn’t need our hot take on how to run our lives.
So drop the ego and take it to Him first. Your decisions will be better for it, and I’d put money on that (fantasy money, of course😉).
Lord, keep us on target. Amen.
